Broadband investment needed to support remote learning during Covid-19

According to a recent study from the Boston Consulting Group and Common Sense Media, 21% of urban and 37% of rural public k-12 students, representing more than 15 million students in total, and up to 400,000 of their teachers, lack internet connectivity at home that could support distance learning. These students are at greater risk of falling behind than their connected peers, both during the pandemic and in normal times.
