The Post Road Foundation announces being awarded a follow-on grant from The Rockefeller Foundation for 2020 year

The Post Road Foundation is excited to announce that it has been awarded a generous follow-on grant from The Rockefeller Foundation to research models for promoting investment in sustainable, broadband-connected infrastructure to drive digital inclusion, efficient resource management and economic growth. The grant will support a feasibility study in one pilot community to assess in more depth the costs and benefits of deploying the fiber optic networks needed to support sustainable infrastructure. With this grant, Post Road is also continuing a close collaboration with teams from the Harvard Kennedy School and Harvard Law School to conduct research on a number of key issues affecting investment in sustainable infrastructure. Lessons learned from these studies will inform other communities that are interested in sustainable, broadband-connected infrastructure.

The feasibility study is expected to be completed by April 2020.
